    Coffee masterclass breakdown:

Here at Odd Kin, we like to keep things relaxed and informal.

Our coffee class has been structured to cover everything you need to know to boss your brew methods moving forward.

On the day of your class, you can look forward to being greeted by our warm and friendly team who will be busy roasting speciality beans in small batches.

You'll be able to explore our coffee roastery and witness first-hand how our beans get prepared before being bagged and brewed.

Your coffee masterclass will be hosted by Christina, a brewing legend who also happens to be our Head of Coffee here at the roastery.

That start of the class aims to provide a strong foundation in the different elements that come together to make great coffee.

You’ll learn about the science and theory behind brewing through expert talks and demonstrations.

After covering the essentials, you'll explore different types of coffee and find out which brewing methods suit them best.

Part of the course covers coffee flavour profiles, a chance to learn more about tasting notes as you sip on in-house speciality single origins and blends.

Last but not least, you'll be guided through brewing techniques with top coffee equipment like the AeroPress, V60 and Cafetière.

By the end of the class, you'll be able to tell the difference between various grind types and better understand why these grinds make all the difference to your brew.
