🇵🇪 More about Peru:

Peru is a coffee flavour volcano on the verge of erupting, we guarantee it'll soon be producing world beating coffee.

Climate, topography and 'terroir' are just a few of the many similarities Peru shares with its behemoth coffee producing neighbour, Colombia.

But with coffee not yet recognised by the Peruvian government as an official cash crop, there is sadly little investment going into the industry.

This is where we step in and help, using partners like Volcafe to ensure Peru gets the support of investment into the country's coffee producing regions.

Learn more about Peruvian coffee.

Volcafe Way:

Our green import partners at Volcafe have been working with local coffee producers and farmers in Peru for decades now.

In 2014, they launched their farmer support programme Volcafe Way, helping to support thousands of farmers with agronomy and business training.

As well as educating and training Peruvian coffee producers in the most effective and environmentally friendly practices, they also invest in local communities too.

To date, they have helped to build schools, roads and the general infrastructure needed to support a thriving coffee producing industry.

With the right levels of investment and support, it won't be long before Peru firmly stamps its name on the coffee map!

Support Peru's speciality coffee sector by purchasing Rio Tambo today - we promise you won't regret it.
