Ethiopian coffee beans produced by Mensur Aba Hika
Rosé and strawberry laces
This coffee will pop every morning, get your taste buds tingling and help you start your day on the front foot. We absolutely love naturally processed Ethiopian coffees, they bring all the juicy goodness that you need from life.
The varietal in this lot is pretty special as it’s a traditional local Ethiopian strain, known as 74110, developed in the 70’s at the Jimma Agricultural Research Centre. The original ‘mother tree’ was in the village of Bishari, in the Oromia region. You don’t often get to drink this Ethiopian coffee varietal, so if it’s your first time - welcome to the 74110 club.
Ethiopian coffee beans roasted by the Odd Kin fam, we can't wait for you to try them!

A bit more about this Ethiopian coffee:
Lara from Right Side Coffee stumbled across Mensur’s farm during her visit to Ethiopia last year and we are SO glad that she did. Mensur Aba Hika has been expertly growing coffee for over 40 years and now, due to changes in the Ethiopian coffee market regulations, Right Side Coffee are able to deal directly with him. This means that he receives a much better and well deserved price for his Ethiopian coffee.
Mensur hand picks the coffee cherries once they reach the perfect level of ripeness and then transfers them to raised African beds. Here they are left to dry in the sun until the desired degree of humidity is reached.
