A new Bristol coffee shop in the heart of Clifton

We now roast and brew the coffees we love to drink.

For the people we love to drink them with.

For us, coffee has always been an experience best enjoyed with friends.

Roasting for our customers and wholesale partners is a dream, but we wanted somewhere in the heart of Bristol where we could meet more of the wonderful people in this city.

So we’ve expanded the business and opened our very own coffee shop in Clifton.

The space was previously home to our friends at Wayland’s Yard, which means we’ve got some big shoes to fill - but we’ve promised to keep delivering for all their local regulars and newcomers to our Bristol coffee shop.

Find out more about what you can expect...

Sip on speciality coffee

We’ll have four single origins on at any given time, all freshly roasted in-house at our roastery in Hengrove, south west Bristol.

Our speciality coffee barista legends will be on hand to chat you through the different flavour profiles and tasting notes on offer to help you find your favourite brew.

After discovering your perfect cup, you'll have the option to purchase our speciality beans in-store to enjoy at home.

Available whole bean or we can grind your coffee to suit your home brew method.

Enjoy fresh brunch and daily lunch specials

Working closely with small businesses in the area, we’ll be using locally sourced produce to deliver flavours that compliment our coffee offering.

You can find our brunch menu here, but there will be a lot more on offer...

LUNCH:

Our daily rotating lunch specials will make the most of seasonal produce to keep things fresh and exciting throughout the year. We'll also have mountains of sandwiches to keep those of you on the move fed!

FRESH BAKES:

It wouldn't be right to serve up coffee without slabs of cake, so we've got a fully stocked counter with fresh pastries and all of our cakes have been lovingly baked by the wonderful Sian at our roastery.

Sourcing the finest coffees

Opening an independent coffee shop in Bristol not only allows us to serve up seriously tasty coffee, it also gives us a space to showcase the journey from bean to cup, and the many hands involved in creating the end product.

Passionate about traceability - we work closely with a handful of green importers that ensure coffee producers are looked after.

We’re working year on year to build strong direct partnerships with farmers around the world.

Whichever coffee you choose, you can rest easy knowing that it has been carefully and ethically sourced by us, for you.

Odd Kin Coffee Roasters, Bristol UK

Our story

Roasting coffee had always been a dream of ours.

When the opportunity to take on an abandoned roastery unit came about, we knew that if we didn't take the plunge we'd forever think 'what if?'

We've been roasting coffee in Bristol for a few years now, and although the road has been filled with uncertainty, we've gained so much more from it than we could have ever imagined.

Through the journey we've been able to expand our offering, meet like-minded business owners through wholesale partnerships and collab with some of the best coffee roasters in the country with our Blend Friends series.

All of this has led us to the start of our next chapter: Odd Shop.

Built on the foundations that we've always stood on:

  • Knowing what gets us up and out of bed in the morning.
  • Creating connections, building relationships and giving a little lift to those around us.
  • Sharing this journey with a team of legends who are so passionate about what we do.

This is what we do at Odd Kin.

We start things, not knowing where we headed, but with a feeling that we'll probably be alright.

Our Bristol coffee shop is officially open, and we can't wait to welcome you.
