Where do we start with this guy?

Is he one of the nicest guys in coffee? Arguably.

Will he malfunction if he doesn't have access to good coffee? Definitely.

Does he prefer to be the scout, the healer or the tank in D&D? You'll have to ask him.

Regardless of all of the above, Rama has become the guy in charge of making sure we have a constant supply of freshly roasted goodness to ship out to you fine people each week.

Rama's been roasting coffee for 11 months now and he has really taken to this dark art like a true natural. Continually tasting what he produces, tweaking our curves and working tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure that we are growing, learning and getting better each week.

It's so nice to be a part of a team of people that bring their own strengths to the party each day. We are all brilliant at some things, whilst totally failing at others - this is good.

It's a joy to watch people flourish when they really find their niche in life.

Rama also happens to be a serious people person, so you will soon find him out on the road looking after our wholesale fam - making sure that everyone is serving our coffee with a big old smile on their face.

Oh, and whilst I've got your attention - we've almost come to the end of the road with our Brazil AMUC, with just one bag left unopened in the roastery.

Sisters Kenia & Jessica both studied Agricultural Engineering at university, focusing on production in order that they could come back to their family farm with the expertise to take their coffee to the next level.

They certainly achieved this. And more.

A beautifully smooth buttercream mouthfeel, backed up by a red berry sweetness that just screams BIRTHDAY CAKE 🎂

Please grab yourself a bag before it’s gone, you won’t regret it.

Stay easy,

Sam & The Odd Kin Fam
